Since the controller board that comes with the Tevo Tarantula is apparently not designed to handle the current required for heating the bed to print ABS without overheating, a MOSFET expansion board is necessary. As a skilled technician, I could have easily built one myself, but when you can purchase one on Amazon for eleven dollars - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY50JL3 - why bother taking the time to build it? It does require an enclosure, however. This case is designed specifically for use with MOSFET controller boards marked "www.cbd-3d.com V1.3". A 30mm fan is mounted behind the heatsink to aid in cooling. I recommend orienting the fan so that air is drawn through the box and out the fan, thereby sucking heat out while bringing cool air into the front grill. The control wires are brought out the front through a horizontal slit. While designing the box, I created a 3D model of the board itself just for fun. I haven't printed the board model yet, but I'm including it in case you want to try printing it. If you do decide to print the model, please post photos so we can see how it turns out.
