Case for the CB2 Micro kit computer http://cb2.qrp.gr/ which is a cheap easy to build microcomputer which comes with games and a built in Basic editor, all running on an ATmega644.

New version with logo changed to match the silkscreen and two 5.8mm hole to mount RCA connector for audio and composite video. Also exposed the jumpers by the DB9 connector.

Case PCB to sidewall gap reduced to 1mm from 2mm for a snugger fit, and the clip pins tweaked for better fit too.

Added version 2 of the 1.6mm shell with snap fit clips, the PCB pins now just hold it in place.

Works well with Cura's dynamic quality at 0.2mm alsoin in PETG for durability.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

CR-10

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

~25%

Filament: Amazon PLA

Notes:

My son made it but it needed a case so it doesn't short out anything when placed on conductive items :-) I search but there wasn't one so thought I would make one.
No board/eagle file published so made it from manual measurements.
The top has cutouts for the expansion pins if you wish to use them.

The PCB should sit on the mounting pins on the bottom and the top push down over and hold in place.

First 3D object I've designed in a very long time and first for 3D printing and first time using Fusion 360 so a little rough and probably easily improved.

I have made a few improvements since my last print for better alignment but it should be good to print.

One thing is to check the finish on the pins and the locating holes they may need a clean up depending on how good your print is.

Fusion 360 f3d file, OBJ and STL files included to edit as you see fit.

Print the two half with flat face down, 0.2 no supports needed the walls are only 1mm which is two lines on my printer, strong enough for a fall down some stairs ;-)

Category: Computer
