This is a remix of Jdb9294's insert for Cave vs Cave. His original design was tailored for 3D printing, but this one is specifically optimized for laser cutting. Some key differences between the two versions are worth noting. For instance, the gameboards in this design are securely fastened and won't shift around, which keeps the game pieces firmly in place. As a result, you can store the game either on its side or upright without any issues. This design is intended for use with 3 mm MDF and will fit seamlessly onto a cutting surface measuring 600 x 300 mm. If you carefully assemble the insert and then gently slide it into the box, you'll find that you don't need to apply glue to hold it together.
