Cave Clock
thingiverse
My sister is involved in a fundraiser next month, and she's asked me to contribute by making something that will help raise money for Carter Caves, an exceptional state park located in eastern Kentucky. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to try out creating a clock, which has been on my mind lately. I purchased the necessary components from a local hobby shop: "Walnut Hollow TQ700P 3/4 Clock Movements" - http://www.hobbyvilla.com/product-p/whfy7000.htm In addition to the clock works, I'm including some extra clock faces that can be used if needed. The rock wall roof that I created will also be included, but it's not glued on as shown in one of the photos. You'll also find a blank box for the clock works and a small thumbscrew/foot for the stand. Of course, you're free to replace the text I've printed on the front plate with your own design. Here are the print settings that I used: Printer brand: MakerBot Printer model: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.30mm Infill: 5-10%
With this file you will be able to print Cave Clock with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Cave Clock.
