MODEL OF THE CAVE Scene Preparation ------------------ The scene is specifically set up for V-Ray rendering. To ensure accurate rendering, Multiscatter is required as a plugin - ensure you have it installed to successfully render the stones. Linear Workflow is used in this scene. All maps are included and accessible. Previews rendered include all output formats. Unit of Measurement -------------------- The entire model was designed using centimeters (cm). Main preview images feature the scene with applied post-processing effects. Statistics: Viewport Poly Count: 386,142 Rendered Poly Count: 4,906,782 Model Composition ------------------ Cave Stacking: still available for modifications. Poly count optimization is achievable through TS iterations - adjust to desired level for optimal performance. Stone Scatter: low resolution and using Multiscatter plugin. Stone distribution via Multipainter objects. Layer management: all objects are organized with clear naming conventions and layer hierarchies. Dimensions ---------- Cave Measurements: Depth: approximately 210 meters Width: approximately 150 meters Material Asset --------------- Map inclusion: all required maps are present. For efficient material tracking, use the asset tracking system to point to the relevant maps folder. Materials Naming Conventions: clear and descriptive names for easy identification. Lighting Setup ----------------- The scene is optimized using a combination of V-RaySun and V-RaySky, complemented by a VRayCamera. Rendering configuration adheres strictly to Linear Workflow (LWF) guidelines. For consistent results, open the scene in 3dsmax Design 2013 or earlier versions as saved - rendering should produce identical output as the provided preview images. Native File Format ------------------ Original file was created in 3dsmax Design 2013 but has also been configured to work within 3dsmax 2010.
