Cavalier Turbo Mustang-3 for micro-armor... This sleeker cousin of the Piper PA48 light attack aircraft never made production due to the USAF's focus on jets at the time and concerns about propellers. Despite impressive performance in PAVE COIN evaluations, pilots were hesitant to fly it. The USAF now seeks a plane like this, even considering reviving the Skyraider, but finds it too expensive. A militarized Super Tucano seems likely instead. Modeled in Blender 2.79b at accurate dimensions and then scaled down to 1/100 for STL conversion. A 35% reduction in scale yields a micro-armor version of the model. I struggled with printing this model, still experimenting with slicer settings and orientations to optimize results. Thin details are prone to breaking. The shown model is Version 4; uploaded Version 5 features an added exhaust system, which I initially overlooked.
