Caulk Tube Nail Plug

Caulk Tube Nail Plug

I don't do much caulking, but when I do, my used tubes always seem to have clogged nozzles. The caps don't work, short plugs don't help, and so on. What does work for me are large, long nails that I insert into the nozzle's end, extending deep into the tube. My problem is that these nails tend to rust over time. This means I waste a lot of caulk each time just to remove the rust-infested part from the tube. These caulk tube "nails" are designed to solve this issue. They're shaped like nails, long enough for the nozzle's end, and extend past it into the tube area. I'd also suggest printing these nails in the same color as the caulk for quick identification.
