This is a cap for opened tubes of Dap Caulk. It may fit others. A repurposed bicycle spoke is press fit through the cap and helps to pierce the tube seal and later to seal the opening.A tip that I had learned is to mark a line on the top to help align the angle cut tube to the joint.
