Trimmed my first bonsai tree this past week. Decided to design some cauldron planters to plant the 3 largest trimmings into. Just to remember they were planted in October. I painted it using a textured undercoating for cars, followed by a matte black primer. The texture came out far closer to black iron than I expected. Added a hole free version as well.
