Hello! I'm excited to share two files of drink coasters with the Catwoman logo. These are two models - a positive and a negative file - designed specifically for printing on coasters. I recommend using the negative one because it provides better stability for your glass or cup. As someone who used to read comics, I still think they're cool and that's why I'm sharing these superhero drink coasters with you. While I haven't printed them yet, I have previewed them in my slicer and seen no issues with the detail. Feel free to print these coasters using a single or multiple color, filament, or resin, and show me what you've made of it - whether you post a picture or not is up to you! Use this coaster to house your favorite drink. This standard-sized coaster (100 by 100 by 5 mm) fits perfectly in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 Here's how I designed these coasters: I picked a logo from my browser and converted it to an SVG file using Inkscape. Then, I opened the SVG file in Blender and created a 3D object. Next, I repaired the file and erased some aspects in Meshmixer, and added a coaster to it. After scaling the picture, I merged it with the coaster. To create the negative model, I used 123Design to subtract the file from a drink coaster STL file. I saved it as an STL file and sliced it for printing. However, the model still had some issues after repairing it in Meshmixer, so I exported it to Netfabb Online Service, which I've recently discovered and prefer over MakePrintable. With unlimited STL fix procedures, Netfabb worked well for me and allowed me to slice the model without any problems.
