This is a clay print made on my Johnatan Keepers clay deltaprinter, found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:147055. I used Cura for slicing and discovered that slicing for a clay print is vastly different from PLA, so be sure to check out the print settings. Working with clay can be challenging, especially if you're new to it. That's why I highly recommend finding someone with ceramic skills who can guide you through the process. The tricky part is getting the clay right and eliminating air bubbles - they'll destroy your print in no time. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Deltaprintr Printer: Deltaprintr Assembled Resolution: 0.8 mm Infill: 30% Notes: For the base part, I used a layer height of 0.8 mm and an infill percentage of 30%. The top and bottom had no infill. For the cat's part, I set the layer height to 0.8 mm and spiraled the outer counter under expert settings. After the clay was almost dry, I stuck the two parts together for a seamless finish.
