Cattle Wagon TT 120 Scale
thingiverse
This is a self designed Cattle Wagon based on GWR plans with some artistic license. Designed for TT 120 Scale although could perhaps be scaled down for N Gauge (not tried). The design makes use of Tillig 08818 7.5mm wheel and axle set for TT Scale, and Tillig 08840/08841 couplings that are compatible with the coupling Hornby are using on their TT:120 models. I am also using the Dapol N Gauge Coupling sockets Dapol 2A-000-014 to house the couplings. Being in the UK I was only able to source the Tillig parts from modellbahnshop lippe in Germany, but the Dapol sockets you can get anywhere. This design is probably no where near prototypical so don't bother counting the rivets as there aren't any! I wanted some cheap rolling stock till Hornby caught up with me :) I printed this in two ways - the chassy.stl is printed on my Ender3 for durability and printed the brake details, etc surprisingly well. The body I printed on a resin Elegoo Mars2 Pro printer for the detail. Body and chassy just get super glued together. Carefully 'ease' the axles in place after assembly. NEM pockets can then be super glued onto the pad on the chassy and the couplings fitted once dry. Couplings should be at the correct height. You might be able to print the body on a PLA printer but might sacrifice some detail.
