The tiny creature's face contorted into a scowl as he muttered to himself, clearly displeased with my presence. "You're late," he grumbled, his voice low and menacing. I stood up straight, trying to appear taller than I was, but he just chuckled at me. "Ah, you think you can hide behind that silly smile of yours, don't you?" He took a step closer, his eyes narrowing.
