Cats vs Dogs by Chris Hansen - For years, cats and dogs have clashed over who's the neighborhood's top pet. Today, they're settling the debate once and for all in an epic street battle! Cats vs Dogs is a two-player game where one player controls the cats and the other controls the dogs. Your goal is to dominate your opponent's yard - or chase them off the board altogether. But be warned: the board is riddled with distractions that'll throw your animals off track during the heat of battle. Each player gets 10 pieces, strategically placed out of sight from their opponent. Players move on a grid featuring several houses and a street from the neighborhood. When two pieces collide in the same square, both players reveal their piece and play a card to boost its value. The player with the highest total wins the battle - unless they're fighting on a square with a distraction, which reduces their overall strength. The winner is the player who claims their opponent's yard on the far side of the board. This lighthearted game plays fast and is simple enough for young kids, but packed with strategy to keep parents entertained too.
