CatPaw v1
prusaprinters
This has a couple of firsts. This is the first model for my first printer, first time using Plasticity (trial). And just first time 3d printing anything (not counting a bed level test).I printed this with the sample of PLA thas was included in the box.Layer height 0.32mm (I like the feel of the texture), 3 perimeters, 4 top layers, 3 bottom layers, cubic infill at a 23% density (no reason, just a test).Print the model ring side down, no support needed. This was to see how easy I could make something with the Plasticity trial, test how strong the printed object would be (I just guessed at the settings). Also to test what speed settings are reasonable with the printer and if supports are needed. This thing used 100grams of filament is is way too sturdy for what is is intended to do; to raise the Ikea Oftast food bowl of our cat a little from the floor. Right after this I designed v2, which only uses 19 grams.
