Cathedral Game
thingiverse
Customize wooden Cathedral game pieces with various shapes to represent different elements such as shingles, gargoyles, windows, and fountains. Substitute models can also be used as long as they fit within the spaces. Printing on an Afinia 3D printer takes between 2.5 to 4.5 hours per file depending on print settings, with print time varying according to scale and settings. Be cautious when printing on perf board to avoid tearing out the bottom due to insufficient infill or rushing. Align objects to fit an Afinia/Up platform size while keeping print directions and object heights uniform for efficient printing. Some pieces may require slight modifications due to tight tolerances, and four game border files can be printed to enclose the entire city if desired. The 3D models were created as substitutes for a worn Cathedral World set and a travel set scratched built in wood. A hollow cross cut through the tower of one church piece is a challenging print but possible. Another cathedral game piece can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:107522. Modify base models on Tinkercad and learn more about the game's variations on BoardGameGeek.
