I built this custom harness for my cateye HB-100 after it went missing with its original strap on a stolen Cannondale bike. The unit had been idle for 10 years due to a dead battery, but a spare battery brought it back online. I wanted to use it on my new folding bike, so a replacement strap was in order. This custom harness fits the HB100 dimensions and is compatible with other cateye computers such as the MT300, ED200, AT100, VL200, and VL100+. The design includes a self-locking magnet holder for the wheel, a sensor for the fork, and a quick-release lock to prevent theft - a lesson I learned the hard way. A glass-type reed relay can be used in the sensor pod. Have fun with it and feel free to reach out if you need something similar.
