Decided to upgrade the design with a sturdy hinge courtesy of Shoyun's "Reinforced hinge" kit and secure it with a clip, ditching the original Canadian Technical Tape for this build. Still tinkering with it. Next step: printing out these custom cases in Carbon Fiber, PETG, and 910 Nylon for added durability.
