My goal was to create a more stable catapult than those previously seen here, as the arm on some designs seemed to be held on by a rubber band only, causing unstable shots. To accomplish this, I glued large pieces together and added pegs for support. The arm is wrapped with a rubber band around these pegs, allowing for adjustable shot power. However, there may need to be adjustments made to the hole size for the arm and additional support for parts within the frame. A triggering mechanism is also something I am considering but have not yet figured out how to design without affecting shot power adjustment; any ideas are welcome!
