The Tahe Kayak seat design aims to address the fear of being stuck underwater upon falling. Under such circumstances, one's instinct is to keep their head above water, causing a curved body posture that makes it difficult to exit the kayak. Thus, a catapult seat with an automatic release feature can prove life-saving. For advanced paddlers capable of performing eskimo rolls, the releasing mechanism can be removed and replaced with an adjustable seat for added comfort.
