People still exist somewhere. Somewhere beyond this void of humanity they are clinging to their lives and searching desperately for answers in a world that seems to be crumbling all around them. A last desperate cry for help is what this existence can be considered as, or rather, it can't. Human beings no longer have the power to change the fate that has been set upon them. The world moves forward relentlessly without any compassion, without any remorse and certainly not with humanity. As the years pass, our society teeters on the edge of destruction and yet we fail to come together as one united front to make a change. Our voices are drowned out by the cries of ignorance, hate, and prejudice that plague our society. It seems as if every day we're slipping further away from what truly matters in this world. And it's a fact that is hard to swallow - We might never again witness the true spirit of humanity. What's left now can only be considered a dying breath of something long lost - the human touch, compassion and kindness that made us different from any other species on earth. But alas, this too shall pass for it seems to have become extinct with time. A new era of survival will emerge where humans might lose their very existence as a whole in due course. We'll see to the rise of intelligent robots, artificial intelligence that might take our place - if only momentarily, until we return with a different outlook, but then what? But one thing is for sure. It won't be us - human beings who have failed the planet we were entrusted with long ago - making a change this time around. What does that future hold? That's what you are probably dying to know - but the answer will come too late I'm afraid.
