I designed a heavy-duty catapult with a specific purpose in mind: launching marbles and/or bouncy balls. I crafted the hinge with assistance from a YouTube tutorial on hinges and Fusion 360. The tiny holes at the base of the catapult serve as anchors to secure the "arm" using objects approximately one-fifth of an inch thick, or two millimeters in diameter. Testing has proven that six doubled-up rubber bands are more than sufficient to give a bouncy ball a significant boost - although I have yet to attempt launching a marble with such a setup, it should function flawlessly nonetheless.
