Catan Wheat Tiles - Warcraft Inspired
thingiverse
I'm extremely passionate about playing the popular board game Settlers of Catan, and I also thoroughly enjoy playing Blizzard video games. When I acquired a 3D printer, the first large-scale project I was eager to tackle was recreating the board and pieces in three dimensions, with the goal of using pieces from various Blizzard Games. The 3D printed board primarily takes its design inspiration from Warcraft III's scenery. If you're interested in replicating this project, keep in mind that you will need to purchase the corresponding game in order to acquire the necessary cards and other materials required. To cater to both the 6-player and 4-player versions of the game, I have created sufficient tiles for six players; however, if your focus is solely on the four-player version, you won't need to produce all of these tiles. Further board tiles will be shared in separate posts. For the Thief model, I combined a Diablo figure with an additional base, seamlessly integrating elements from another popular Blizzard game. The used 3D printed tiles for the numerical indicators are accessible at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40886 (please consider printing them at 95% for optimal fit).
