I sought a storage solution more sophisticated than the basic box provided, one that would conceal the contents while still displaying their quantity. Printing the box in black and the component bases white made them highly visible to all players. When a player rolls a 7, everyone shifts their holders forward, sliding the components into place. The participant selecting which resource to draw can now see exactly how much each player has stored. Atop this compartment is a score tracker. Players move the white marker along as they accumulate points. Upon achieving either the Longest Road or Largest Army, players are awarded the +2 marker corresponding to that achievement.
