Catan replacement borders
thingiverse
These are custom replacement borders for the standard Settlers of Catan game board. Fed up with constantly trying to keep all the hex tiles in place while playing, I designed these printed borders to make setup and play a breeze. With these sturdy borders, you can easily move the whole board around without any tiles slipping or coming loose. Made from 2mm thick cardstock, these borders are slightly thicker than the standard ones but still fit neatly inside the original box along with all the other game pieces. To get enough pieces for the standard game border, you'll need to print six straight borders and six corners. The points where the borders lock together have a bit of wiggle room, so they're designed to be held mostly together rather than fitting perfectly. You can also print as many extra borders as you like to hold more hexes or create a non-symmetric hexagon by splitting each side of the game board in two.
