Catan Number Tokens - 4 Player Set
thingiverse
Really, custom 3D printed number tokens for a modern Catan game? Sure, one could have reused the cardboard ones from the original set with their own custom board, but where's the fun in that? This is a set of high-quality number tokens designed specifically for the basic 4 player set. I've also created **tokens for the 6 player set** (yes, they are unique).\r\n\r\nSince I couldn't find an existing design that met my requirements, I made it from scratch. This is the perfect design I was looking for.\r\n\r\nThe tokens are 25 mm in diameter, double sided with the numbers embossed on the back (__*don't worry*__, the number/letter associations are correct, my preview pictures are sorted for pleasing numeric and alphabetic order, not front-to-back accuracy). The letters on the front are nice and large for better visibility, and the pips are the same height as the letters so that the robber sits evenly on top rather than at an angle that is prone to making it fall if the board is looked at cross-eyed. The font used is **Minion Pro**, Minion being the font widely used on the Catan site, in many of their publications, and is a fairly close (but not *quite* exact) match for the text on the original number tokens.\r\n\r\nThese are designed as a single color print, but I used **rawlogic's** superb **Change Filament At Z Cura Plugin** to print mine duo-color. I highly recommend that over painting.
