I love playing board games, especially Settlers of Catan, and video games from Blizzard, so when I got my 3D printer, my first big project was recreating the board and pieces in 3D, with a twist: they'd be based on Blizzard Games' iconic scenery. I modeled the board after Warcraft III's stunning backdrops, but if you want to follow suit, be warned: you'll need to buy the game for those crucial cards and pieces. I designed enough tiles for a 6-player game, though – if you prefer a 4-player version, you won't need all of these tiles.
