Catan Knight Pieces for Cities and Knights Expansion

Hi!\r\nI'm a die-hard Catan enthusiast and I've always dreamed of 3D printing game pieces to play with.\r\n\r\nOn a tight budget, I didn't want to shell out for the entire C&K expansion, so creating my own knights became a must. This opened up endless possibilities for creativity!\r\nI've never been a fan of how the knight pieces in Catan work, particularly the hassle of determining if a player has active knights, how many, and what strength they possess.\r\n\r\nTo address this issue, I set out to design knights that would achieve two key objectives:\r\n- Clearly display the strength and active/inactive status from every angle\r\n- Maintain the same overall dimensions as the original pieces to ensure consistency in storage, space requirements, and other factors\r\n\r\nThe solution was a see-through roman numeral level indicator that proves effective.\r\nA flat bottom allows the knights to stand upright when active, a major plus for all players.\r\n\r\nTwo designs are presented here: one with a smooth edge and another featuring "ribs" to indicate the knight's level from a perpendicular view (I highlighted this using sharpie in the photos).\r\n\r\nI felt that the Thingiverse Catan community was lacking a straightforward solution for knights, so I'm excited to share these designs!
