Sheep Resource Tiles for 3D Settlers of Catan Game Board Concept Based on RecklessRobbie's Catan Tiles I designed these sheep resource tiles for my 3D Settlers of Catan game board with a focus on increased durability and stiffness. To achieve this, I used thicker tile designs to make them more robust. Additionally, I tightened up the tile-to-tile interface tolerance to ensure seamless connections between tiles. For added functionality, I created recessed areas around the outside of each tile for player pieces. These pockets are specifically sized to accommodate roads with a footprint of 6.5mm x 27mm and town/city pieces that are approximately 15.3mm in diameter. To further enhance gameplay, I am designing my own roads and planning to use town/city parts created by Thuren. The windmills have tiny holes for inserting windmill blades, requiring a bit of finesse to assemble them correctly. However, these parts are currently quite fragile, so I plan to reinforce them in the future. Some tiles incorporate assets from other makers on Thingiverse, and I've included remix links back to their original projects as a tribute to their work. My print settings for this design include 0.15mm layer thickness, two perimeter layers, three layers of top and bottom support, 15-20% grid infill, and a 2mm brim to prevent warping at the tile-to-tile interface tabs.
