Catan Game Board tiles - Lumber
thingiverse
I created wheat resource tiles for my 3D Settlers of Catan game board. The concept is based on the Catan tiles done by RecklessRobbie. You can find those here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:649819 I made these a bit thicker to increase stiffness and durability since I'm using PLA for material, with settings listed below. I also made the tile-to-tile interface tighter tolerance to ensure the tiles stay together nicely. And finally, I added recessed areas around the outside for player pieces. The recessed pockets are sized for roads with a footprint of 6.5mm x 27mm and town/city pieces that are ~15.3mm diameter. I am making my own roads, and plan on using the town/city parts designed by Thuren: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:687162 Some tiles use assets from uploads by other makers here on Thingverse. I created a remix link back to any projects that have models used in these tiles. My print settings were 0.15mm layer, 2 perimeter, 3 layers top/bottom, 15-20% grid infill, 2mm brim (helps keep the tile-to-tile interface tabs from warping).
