Here are replacement pieces for your Catan Cities and Knights game where the pieces are easier to see. When the knight is active you flip it up to show the number, when the knight is inactive you flip it to show the blank side. Even when it's not active you can see its strength by looking at the stripes from the side. In this file set, I include three types of files for different levels of printer expertise: - "Print and Glue" files are used if you want to print everything then glue it all together later. - "Manual Color Change ever 1mm" files are used to print either using manual color changes or using your printer software (or plugin) for color changes where needed (every 1mm hight when printed at 100% scale). There is also a test piece included so you can check that your GCODE works. - "Dual Color Printing" files are for printers that you can pre-load with more than one color. NOTE: If you try and use the GCODE supplied "Manual Color Change ever 1mm JDS Catan Knights (change color ever 1mm).gcode", it might not work on your machine at all. Use with care. If it does work for you the printer will stop when it needs a color change, move to a neutral position, cool off the extruder, and wait. Be careful not to move the print head when changing colors. On my printer, I hit continue a couple of times. The first press does nothing for this print. The second press re-heats the extruder to allow you to change colors. The 3rd press will only register if the extruder and heated bed are stable at the printing temperatures. You'll know it registered because it will push out some filament to prime the extruder. You should clean this off, then the 4th press will continue printing in the new color.
