The Level 3 Knight design originated from Joe Knowlton's ingenious knight concept found on Tinkercad at https://tinkercad.com/things/4ffihJo1xEC. Subsequent designs for various levels of knights built upon the original, incorporating distinct characteristics to differentiate them visually and structurally. Among the variations are differences in height and shield size, setting each apart from its predecessors. The most noticeable distinction, however, lies in their headgear. Knights belonging to Level 1 sport no helmets, while those classified under Level 2 feature basic helmets as standard issue. The highest tier, Level 3, dons pointy helmets, showcasing an evolution of design that echoes through all the knight designs. For operational readiness, flags are mounted atop poles, indicating activation status with clear visual cues. It's advisable to paint or print the flags in different colors to make it immediately discernible which knights have been activated, promoting smooth gameplay experience during simulations. This particular model is optimized for use with JAWong's excellent Settlers of Catan tile collection, as shared on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26979.
