Catalina 30 Swedish Deck Fill Caps

I am printing these so that the top side is the "nice" side, so they require lots of support. They also require an O-Ring to seal properly: 224 Buna-N O-Ring, 1-3/4" ID, 2" OD, 1/8" Width WARNING!!! I designed these as temporary use caps only in case of emergency. PLA is WATER absorbtive! You do not want contamination of fresh and salt water, or in fuel tanks. I would use some kind of clear coat protectant to seal the plastic before use. PLA is fine for use with fuels! But see note above! ABS is stronger, and won't get brittle over time like PLA, but is not as good with fuel. Nylon is probably the best for UV and fuel resistance, but I have no experience printing nylon.
