Cat tree support

Cat tree support

thingiverse

My cat tree is slowly falling apart, so instead of throwing it out and buying a new one, I thought I'd try to fix it. The v1 & v2 supports are 4mm thick and designed to fit inside a cardboard tube with an inside diameter of 55mm. The v3 & v4 supports are also 4mm thick and designed to fit inside a cardboard tube with an inside diameter of 52mm or one that is 55mm but old and spongy at the edges. V5 is slightly larger at 53mm. The attached platform on v1 includes 4 holes that are 1mm in diameter (really more like guides as to where to drill the holes) so it can be screwed down to the base. The screw holes in the platforms on v2, v3, v4, & v5 are 2.5mm in diameter so they can be screwed down to the base. The platforms on v1 & v2 are 150mm in diameter, and the platforms on v3, v4, & v5 are 130mm in diameter. V4 & v5 are also chamfered to allow easier installation. To install, I used 4 bolts on each base, #4 - 40 x 1 - 1/4 in and 1 carriage bolt on each shaft, 2 - 3/4 in, all the way through the column. I used the holes in the bases as a guide to drill into the cat tree base.
