Cat tree column support

I have a cat tower that the plastic component holding a pole upright snapped. The original plastic was too thin and gave way under an 8-pound cat's weight. The pole slides onto the base, and the base is secured to the platform by a locking nut. The pole has a diameter of 60mm; the base fits, but for me it was very tight so I ended up sanding the outside of the base to allow some extra room. This was one of my first attempts at OpenSCAD, so I probably went overboard on the thicknesses, but it is extremely sturdy. The nut cavity is 15.6mm at its widest point, and I'm not sure what size nut that corresponds to, but it seems standard for cat towers I have assembled. To assemble, simply drop the nut into the base's nut cavity, then slide the bolt onto the nut until they connect. Next, twist the base so that the threads are captured by the nut until the base is snug against the platform. Finally, slide the pole over the base.
