Cat Track (Smaller Printers)
thingiverse
I was determined to design a cat track for our adorable feline friend, but my FlashForge Creator Pro printer had one major limitation - its build plate size. Specifically, it couldn't accommodate a 300 mm print, which made creating a traditional cat track nearly impossible. I needed to think outside the box and come up with an innovative solution. After some careful consideration, I decided to design a cat track that would work seamlessly with smaller build plate printers like mine. To make it possible, I employed a clever technique called dove tail joints, which allow all the pieces to connect securely without the need for additional glue or adhesives. If you prefer not to use the dove tail system, you can always opt for traditional adhesive methods - however, from my research and testing, I found that it's entirely unnecessary. When it comes to printing supports, simply place them where the dove tail sections intersect, as illustrated in the accompanying image.
