Tried and worked also without support. Printed and added another version with separate smaller 15mm balls and the same big ball alone. I printed it with two 15mm balls in different colors first, then placed them on the cooling fan side of the extruder head when printing was about half done. There you have maximum space to add them between the extruder head and the printing ball. Come on, let's play a game. Who can put the higher number of balls inside? I say 4 with no pause in the printing process. After I failed to print three or more similar balls from here, I decided to make my own from scratch. Tinkercad designed, 45mm big ball (just not to go under the couch - 40mm is too small) with a 20mm ball inside. 100% infill was added to add durability. Support only on the bottom 6mm was needed to ensure sticking on the plate and hold the inside ball which was modeled 0.5mm up in the air for easy removal. There's also a G-code, with my settings for PLA, from which I successfully printed four of those balls.
