Cat Toy and Bowl
thingiverse
A cat toy and bowl crafted from a 400-electron solution to the Thomson problem, where electron positions are connected by swirling bonds forming a pseudo three-fold axis. When printed in PLA on my Replicator, the toy bounces like a rubber ball, and it prints well with enough space to hold several objects. The bowl is designed to cradle the toy. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: The bowl and toy have small flat surfaces to facilitate printing. Excellent prints are achieved with a small raft, no support, and 0.2 mm layers. The toy can be filled with various objects. Pause the print when it's 60-70% complete and carefully add the objects. A small furry mouse and some bells create a pleasant sounding toy.
