Searching for a tool, to empty those expensive bags with gravy for pet food completely and quickly? Than the Catsqueezer is just the right tool for you. I was tired to use my spatula which also not worked with bowls which where more useful for my cats and me.

So, I designed this device.

A revision, which doesn't need to clean after use would be nice and is a milestone for future development.

In Slicer, I recomend to print it with a total length of 160mm

Print instructions

Category: Pets Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Supports: Yes

Resolution: .15

Infill: 10%

Filament: Amazon Basics PETG Transparent
Notes:

PETG is recomended because PLA maybe is a bit brittle

How I Designed This

Version 1 and 2

Develpment Notes

The first draft was an exostructure for the bag, where the food should be squeezed out in direction a, without moving the bag, as you squeeze it by hand.
By using it, it was more applicable to use direction b (it was printed with 50% the dimension in x (red) direction.

The second design got a hole in it and a fin for more stiffens.

But it still was not perfect, so I created a new version, with a complex curve profile in blender, with some Boolean operations in the post processing.

Then, I recognised that for alignment of both arms of the spring and overhang would be useful, like it is in the final design.
