The large white plate displayed in the image is a cover for standard wiring boxes and comes with the ability to hold two CAT 12 VDC sockets designed for low-voltage applications such as household, RV or boat wiring. Secure the CAT socket(s) using a wire, rivet, screw or bolt on the plate. The '+' sign indicates cross blade while '-' denotes in-line blade, and assembly is done with a small bolt or screw, or a rivet. AT (CAT) plugs and sockets are based on the pin arrangement and spacing of AT automotive fuses, with the '+' pin turned sideways. The '12 VDC' refers to the nominal battery voltage, and these connectors can be used for low-voltage house wiring, RV or boat applications.
