If your cat's scratching post or tower is starting to wobble, this fix can help. It did for ours. This cup adds stability back to tired old cardboard tubes that make up cat scratching posts and towers. The cardboard tubes begin to bend or weaken at the ends and start to lean over. To install it, simply unscrew the post, push the new cup over the post, and re-screw it back down. It should then be secure and upright again. I made sure the post is a snug fit by tightening it just so. Start by pushing it in slightly, then as you screw it down, it will pull tight into the cup. This design fits a 62mm diameter post, but if yours is a bit different, simply scale to fit. Our tower was on its last legs about 18 months ago and has been going strong since we added this fix.
