Cat/Pet Leg Brace
thingiverse
Remixed from the PLA Wrist Brace. Please note that this is not a veterinarian-approved design and should not be used on an injured pet. Consult your local vet for proper care. Instructions: - Print with PLA or other low-temp filaments to allow for post-printing thermoforming. - Print flat with strap loops on the upper surface. No support structures were necessary in my case. - To form the shape, dip the part in boiling water for a few seconds or use a hairdryer to heat it up. Once heated, the part becomes malleable for a short time. I formed the shape by hand and test-fitted it to the cat's leg. I repeated this process as needed, dipping only the areas I wanted to shape in the boiling water.
