3 custom parts were designed and printed to transform a standard Chinese security cam into an adorable baby or cat cam. Each part was carefully glued to the plastic of the camera, requiring only a single drop of adhesive for each one. The three custom parts are: - Cat ears - Faux whiskers - A bow tie (this design is a remake of a popular 3D model from Thingiverse, resized and printed at 4 cm wide with a scaling factor of 800% in Cura) The camera used for this project is the Dextel 360 Real HD WiFi IP Camera, which can be easily found on Aliexpress under various brand names, including Yoosee.
