thingiverse
You know those things that cities install on signs and buildings to keep pigeons off? This is that, but for cats, and for very specific situations where you've got vents of the perfect size atop your device.
Specifically, I think, amps.
My cat loves sleeping on my amp. It's warm and cozy, but the problem is that it isn't able to vent when she's atop it, and it needs to vent to work, especially in the summer.
This was specifically printed for the Pioneer VSX-933, but I suspect it'll work for a lot of amps, since they tend to have a similar vent configuration.
I printed three out and it's enough to keep the surface from being uniform, thus dissuading my cat from squeezing up there.
I doubt anyone will ever find use for this device, but I figured I'd share, since I took the time to tweak it.
