Cities often install devices on signs and buildings to deter pigeons. This is a similar solution, tailored specifically for cats in particular situations where vents of exact size are installed atop a unit. Specifically, I believe these units would work best for amps. My cat adores sleeping on my amp because it's warm and cozy. However, the issue arises when she's on top of it - the device needs to vent to function properly, especially during the summer months. This custom print was created specifically for the Pioneer VSX-933, but I suspect it could be used for many amps since they often have similar vent configurations. I printed three units and found that they were enough to create a non-uniform surface, effectively discouraging my cat from squeezing up there. I doubt anyone will ever need this solution, but I decided to share it anyway since I spent time tweaking the design.
