The primary objective of this project was to create and manufacture a vehicle that would enable us to precisely analyze where energy is directed and gain a comprehensive understanding of energy conservation. The vehicle's design required precise measurements, ensuring that the fan and wheels could be integrated seamlessly for testing on the designated track. Initially, we focused on mastering the use of OnShape, a software tool used to develop a model for our cars. We completed a crash course in just one or two days before embarking on designing the vehicles the very next day. Following approval of our designs, we had the cars printed. Concurrently, we formulated equations to determine the energy dynamics at play. Upon completion of the printing process, we measured various parameters, including mass, distance traveled, time taken to cover that distance, and voltage/current while the motor was operational and stationary. On the final examination day, we applied our calculations to derive different velocities, voltages, distances, and other related metrics. The following day, a racing competition ensued, pitting our vehicles against each other to determine whose design would emerge as the fastest.
