I designed this AT-AT model for my husband, who thought it would be hilarious if it had cat ears and a hat. I initially estimated it would take only a few hours to complete, but the project ended up consuming over a month of my time. Despite the challenges, I learned a great deal about articulating joints and 3D printing during this process. While my model is not perfect, I plan to refine it in the future. The sockets are particularly prone to breaking, so if you decide to build this model, please share any suggestions for improvement you may have. Print Requirements You'll need to print the following parts: * Four foot components * Four lower leg components * Three leg socket components * Three tail components (as shown in the picture; you can adjust the number of tails to customize the length) * One everything-else component Assembly Instructions This model snaps together easily, requiring no glue unless you want the hat to stay on permanently. You may need to file down the head socket and tail ball pegs depending on your printer settings.
