These lids are friction fit. They slide on very nicely. I use both brands, so I embossed the brand names on the lids because they are 2 different sized cans.I included the files with no brand names on them. The 9 Lives lid will fit onto the Friskies can if you force it. The Friskies Lid is too loose to be effective on the 9 Lives can.
