Cat Food Can Lid
thingiverse
My mischievous cat will inhale an entire can in one sitting if left unattended. However, she graciously returns what she didn't consume within about 10 minutes by depositing it back onto the floor. To avoid this unpleasantness, I only give her 1/3 of a can at a time. The problem is that those cans cannot be properly resealed and they often stink. After a couple of minutes in CAD, I was able to design a lid. If you're interested, I'll send it your way. I created this lid with the standard Friskies can size in mind. Whatever that size is, it's roughly equivalent to a tuna can for humans - I'm not entirely sure. The good news is that this lid should also work on other cans; feel free to resize it if needed. As a helpful tip, use a twisting motion when removing the lid to break the vacuum seal. It's a trick that works wonders.
