CAT FLAP 3000

Hi Cats, I designed this a year and a half ago, and it's been put to the test ever since. It combines 3D prints with plywood in a unique way. You can use it one-sided for indoor or outdoor purposes by adding an extra cover, or two-sided if you prefer. However, when using both sides simultaneously, make sure to pay attention to the inside and outside plywood parts. To mount the flap-in to the flap-out-frame, you'll need one screw that's 3.5x10mm in size (spax will do just fine). I've made a design tweak that closes the slot between the door and tunnel on regular cat flaps with the flap-out-frame, ensuring no wind gets through. The flap itself has a diameter of 9mm, which is significantly larger than usual cat flaps (2-3 mm). This helps keep temperatures more stable. In the directory, you'll find a .step file that allows you to customize the tunnel length for house doors. UPDATE May 24th, 2020 - I've added two new parts: lock2020 and switch2020. For those interested in seeing it in action, check out the Cat-Flap 3000 video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/3RXuSSjBK4w.
